Introduction

            Silence. Not something necessarily positive. But not negative either. Depending on the person silence can be interpreted as a simple sign of peace when they need to relax. To others it may be that they do not have the access to their words or that they have been scarred into silence. What is silence to you? Silence to me was a little fork in the road of my childhood. When I was a little kid, I was scarred with some unfortunate events that let me to keep my words to myself and remain silent. The silence didn't last long for me, but for others its whole different story. Silence to some artists is when they project their feelings and stories into their art work. My goal is to explore the different views about silence, it's not just necessarily being quiet. For me it was a short time I needed to collect myself and figure out what to do.
